It's November! Holy shhhh!!! 2021 has just barrelled its way through and we are in the final weeks of the year.
A few days ago I felt inspired to create these calendars for those of us that like to know what the Moon is doing at any particular time during this month. It never fails to amaze me when I'm having an experience of some kind to discover after the fact that it correlated perfectly with the energy of the specific Moon phase occurring during the experience.
Only recently I had to rebook a dental appointment and I'd hoped to push the appointment back by 2 weeks to the day i.e. two Wednesdays later. I was told by the receptionist the next available would have been a day later than I'd hoped for... the Thursday instead. It was only after I then realized that the Full Moon was on the previous Wednesday... and if you can help it you really shouldn't have any surgical or invasive procedures during Full Moons. It is said we bleed more heavily during Full Moons and healing is prolonged during this time.
But what really made me chuckle was the fact that it was a Full Moon in Aries! Mars, the ruler of Aries rules needles and metal tools. Aries rules the head, face, mouth, teeth and the BLOOD! I was going to the dentist! The rule of thumb is that you try to avoid having surgical procedures done during the period of time the Moon is is being influenced by the sign that correlates with the body part being worked on. So it was not in my best interest to have a procedure done during a Full Moon (potential heavy blood loss and/or poor healing), when the Moon was in Aries (having a procedure done on the teeth which comes under Aries rulership).
It's moments like those that always make me see just how divinely guided I am and the gratitude is immense believe me.
For reference the rule is no surgery or invasive procedures during New Moons, Waxing Moons and Full Moons. Waning Moon phases bode well because you tend to bleed less and heal better during this Moon phase. Also be aware it is said, avoid having procedures done on the body part or area that is ruled by the sign during that current Moon phase even during Waning Moons phases. For example breast augmentation during a Moon in Cancer (Cancer rules the breasts) even during Waning Moons.
Of course sometimes these cannot be avoided but if you can choose the timing of your procedure, do so.
Below you will find I've added two calendars - the main Lunar calendar and the other showing when the Moon is Void Of Course.
VOC is the period of time when the Moon is shifting from one sign to the other and is therefore not influenced by any specific energy. I find during VOC I tend to feel 'meh' lol, it's almost like I don't know what to do with myself... should I sit? No I feel like running, no I feel like reading, oh look a fish! LOL! It's very floaty, all over the place energy.
It is recommended during VOC Moons to meditate, pray, sleep or just chill out if you can.
I've also added two charts showing which body parts are influenced by the signs for your reference.
So my fellow Selenophiles, take note of your November Lunar cycle and after see if you had any experiences that perfectly linked up with the phases of the Moon.
Happy November to you all!
