Saturn energy in full force!
The first New Moon of 2019 lands on the 6 January 1:29 am GMT in the sign of Capricorn and comes with it a partial solar eclipse. Saturn is at home in Capricorn, along with Pluto and Mercury, which will be entering Capricorn during the New Moon. What's also exciting is that the final New Moon of 2019 will also be a Solar Eclipse in Capricorn.
The energies of this New Moon Solar Eclipse are asking us to seek solitude so we can clearly receive the messages from our guides, as well as to take stock of where we are now, the life we envision for ourselves and what do we need to do to live it. Saturn and Capricorn energy is no-nonsense; think accountability, practicality, responsibility, discipline, patience and determination.
Eclipses are portals or doorways which instigate change - solar eclipses tend to bring good news and new beginnings while lunar eclipses tend to be more sentimental and herald endings. Some astrologers say they are like cosmic roulette and you just never know what will happen.
If you intend on practicing any rituals or spell work to make full use of this energy it is advisable to wait until 2 or 3 days after the actual New Moon Eclipse when the Moon has moved into her waxing phase.
Using the Celtic Cross spread I pulled cards asking my Spirit Guides what are the messages surrounding the New Moon Solar Eclipse. The overall message was one of owning your power! It just dawned on me as I type this that Capricorns though capable and confident people can be equally insecure underneath. I truly believe this is more so because they set the bar high incredibly high for themselves in whatever they do and sometimes they can be their own biggest critic.
Harness the energies of this New Moon; step out of your comfort zone, know your potential, be accountable and take control of your destiny!
Happy 2019 and Happy New Moon Solar Eclipse!!!
